Biography

Craig grew up in rural Missouri and was raised in a musical family, as a child he learned to play several instruments by listening to Willie, Waylon, Haggard and Jones etc.

 

He moved to Texas in the early 90’s and fell in love with his wife and Texas Country Music.  His musical influences include local Texas artists, Red Dirt, Austin Americana, and Classic Outlaw Country artist.
 

His first audience after Mom & Dad was with friends around the campfire. He began playing professionally in 2009.  He feels that a campfire style audience interaction is vital to providing a fun experience for the listeners of his music.  He strives to bring this to every venue he plays.

 

His setlist includes a lot of fun songs and many good stories from artist like Robert Earl Keen, Walt Wilkins, Charlie Robison, Kevin Fowler, Shawn Mullins, Johnny Cash, Old 97’s, Todd Snider, and Chris Knight.  and he also sprinkles in some original songs.
